The evaluation-capitalisation approach at the heart of the FFEM's mission
The role of the FFEM is not only to support innovation, but also to promote, disseminate, and facilitate the scaling up of the solutions identified.
To this end, evaluation and capitalisation are at the heart of the FFEM’s mission.
This approach serves several objectives:
- to draw useful lessons for all project stakeholders and decision-makers: identify success or failure factors of the tested innovations, measure impacts, and support their development
- to produce operational, scientific, or strategic knowledge, open it up for discussion, and share it
- to meet the accountability requirement towards public authorities, French citizens, and project beneficiaries, by ensuring proper use of public funds and aid effectiveness.
