Mangroves Initiative - Networking Days on the Sidelines of the IUCN Congress

On the sidelines of the IUCN Congress to be held in Marseille from September 3 to 11, the FFEM is organizing two days dedicated to the Mangroves Initiative.
September 9 will be dedicated to presenting the progress of ongoing theses on restoration, followed by a meeting of the initiative’s members to review what has been achieved over the past 2 years within the framework of the initiative and to reflect on the capitalization of achievements and future perspectives.
September 10 will be dedicated to field visits:
- Visit to the Domaine du Rayol, the Garden of the Mediterranean, owned by the Conservatoire du littoral (https://www.domainedurayol.org/)
- Visit to the Salins d’Hyères site (Vieux Salins and Salins des Pesquiers), a wetland of salt marshes and a remarkable natural area of the city of Hyères (https://metropoletpm.fr/tpm/article/visitez-site-salins-d-hyeres and https://www.conservatoire-du-littoral.fr/siteLittoral/417/28-les-vieux-salins-83_var.htm)
